We need the Alabama and UF game

We are a young and inexperienced team. Teams like these grow and get better by playing home and road 12/13 game seasons.
Clearly we can’t have that, but by skipping critical games the team misses out on the growing pains needed to improve.
Imagine being bad next year again (Bo or no Bo), are we going to pull the “well team didn’t have a normal season, missed a bunch of critical games players needed to grow and get better ” card?
Being bad again next year will be much worse than a one year complete beatdown. It will also further help reinforce O’s “one hit wonder” status that our competition will absolutely use to recruit against us.
Lets not punt on the season, lets go 2-8 if needed, that way O and Bo can’t use the inexperience card.

We absolutely need the experience of play Bama this year so that the players know what to expect next year going in.

I agree the more games, the better. But we can't even handle Missouri or Miss State. Bama won't teach us anything that the other games won't since we are obviously terrible at everything. If we lose Bama game, I really don't think it matters that much for next year (especially if we have a new DC).

When? We gonna play them after the SEC championship game? Cancel another school to play Bama? There's no week available.

This. Saban was going to come in and totally lay it on us for a full 60 minutes. Great experience for the young Tigers to learn the difference between talented and a winner. Would have put a new perspective on next year for our guys.

College football should not be on the field this year. Call off the season and prepare for next season.

Playing Bama may totally destroy this team's confidence. In a normal year I would say bring em on, but this year's team is soft with no fight or pride in them.
