Firewood Guys

I'm sure like every business, there are good reviews and bad reviews, but I personally will never use Firewood guys again.

I used them a couple years ago and they delivered wood that was SOAKED. $175 for a half cord, delivered and stacked. It was advertised as being completely dry and stored under a massive roof to protect from rain. When I got home after they delivered it, I found a half cord of stacked wood that was completely soaked.

Called to complain and I was told that it was because it had rained right before delivery. I reminded them that their website was clear that it was dry wood since it's all stored out of the elements. She then gave me a bullshite line that it rained the day of delivery. I had to correct her that it did not rain that day and that it rained the day before but that shouldn't matter since it was supposed to all be stored out of the elements. They offered to pick it up and deliver dry wood to me.

Got home the next day to new wood that was only slightly less wet than the time before. I know they replaced it with a different cord because I watched them on my cameras from work that day.

They delivered wet wood and replaced it with more wet wood. frick em, I'm no longer buying from them.

As I said, that's just my experience and I'm sure there are others who have had a good experience with them. Take it for what it's worth.
