At this testing rate, 100% of the state will be tested in 16 weeks, so March 2, 2021.

Wonder what they’ll do to hide the wonky numbers as we get closer to 100% tested in LA?

Nah. It's true that 2.9 million tests account for 63% of our population. But I assure you, 2.9 million different people have not been tested in this state. I'm curious to know how many different people got tested. My wild guess would be around 1 million. There are people out there, depending on their job, who have probably been tested over a dozen times.

“Supposedly” the duplicates are culled but not sure if a positive replaces a negative and visa-versa.

My Grandpa has been tested weekly for months
Staff at his nursing home is tested twice a week
I really think nursing homes & jails are a big part of this #

The state should be able to tell us how many people are being tested because they are sick vs nursing homes, jails & pre op type situations
