They don't. It's an accumulation of several days of testing but it's reported in such a dishonest way that you think 1,307 people literally tested positive for Covid yesterday.

Looks like a Halloween spike unfortunately. So far, we have received positive results from over 900 samples collected on November 4th. That is the most in one day since very early in September.
