I admittedly cannot predict
1. Russ would get covid and then get hurt and be the worse player on the court.
2. The heat 2 and 3 best player would get banged up and rendered useless.
Any prediction comes With the assumption that teams will be healthy. Once guys get hurt, all picks go out the window.

So you can’t predict things due to injuries/players not playing well
But you’re prepared to make a bet about who will win the title before the season starts.
Sounds like you just set yourself up to have an out everytime because I’m 100% sure somebody will get hurt/choke in the playoffs

No one can, even ESPN lead analyst, Zach lowe, earning 1 mil a year to cover basketball, had Houston. Even he did not know the extent of russ injury. Which as it turned out, was very limiting.
I am almost certain JJ redick also said CC had the upper hand. He was right, it CC was healthy.

Lightning rarely strike in the same place twice. Them getting the same stroke of luck, is highly unlikely.

Harden has been ahead of bron at every single metric on b-ball ref for the last 5 years.
How about rings?

Harden has never played on a super team or had a top 5 teammate.
When both players played the warriors with KD, lebron was 1-8. Harden 5-8.
when they played this year, harden had the higher game score.
Title = team accomplishment, you will want to remember this in your Jordan v lebron arguments.
Individual stats = harden better across the board for years.

I was gonna stay with harden if Houston was gonna rebuild. But they aren’t going to Be doing a rebuild. They will require a star in return and be playing to win. According to the GM. So I will have two teams if he gets traded. I am not sure he gets traded. Remember he didn’t say “I want to be traded”. He said “I want to go to brooklyn”. BKN Don’t have the pieces. I’m that case I am not sure he would rather go to atl or whatever over staying.

Sure thing WBB. Make sure your rockets FO friends call the lakers and ask them to trade for harden straight up after the nets finish laughing them off the phone.

Harden's game is about stats and metrics. Not about championships.

HOU will not accept an aging player in return. They require a young franchise player and all the picks and swaps that can be given. That is what it take. More than the Pg deal, bc tbh Shai is not quite franchise player level. We are talking a Simmons, Jamal Murray, trae young, etc. those are three teams that could have interest.

Houston's biggest problem if if the rebuild they will make OKC amazing.

Houston Has always been a winning franchise. 3 losing seasons in 4 decades. they are not going to rebuild. Not in the vocabulary.
