So it's a battle between Hatch and Jefferson now.

well, i'm guessing hatch starts unless he breaks his leg. Sounds like Miles won't start JJ regardless of how he performs because he won't have as many practices under his belt as Hatch. Not surprising.

freshman Stefoin Francois wasn’t at either practice today. Miles said he is being disciplined, but not suspended yet. That is all the information I could get on the situation

Les would call a broken leg a "minor" injury.

Jefferson makes this throw look easy and looks dangerously natural doing it. Hatch was right on the money with most of his throws as well and looked comfortable throwing on the run, although not as natural as Jefferson.

Miles said after practice that he thinks it is “highly unlikely” that Jefferson would be the starter against Appalachian State in the Tigers season opener. However, Miles said that it isnt out of the realm of possibility that Jefferson could work himself into that role if he continues to improve.

should be interesting to see what they do with Dixon. He's obviously not a burner, but with hatch he could do well catching the short to intermediate passes
