Steltz's senior year versus Landry's senior year? Steltz.

Every other year? LaRon.

Nope. But I also think that Landry '03 > Steltz '07, if that makes you feel any better.

insanity

chewing up some of the worst starting QBs in the BCS doesn't make you a great safety

and yeah laron wasn't good in coverage, but neither was steltz. both got burned more than they should have

Probably not, although Tommy Casanova was much better at LSU than Laron was.

he probably had as productive of a year last year as Laron had while he was here. Laron misplayed several deep balls and made some horrendous reads in the 05 SECCG.

but certainly Laron would start over Steltz

True, but Steltz's second half against UF was one of the most unheralded performances of last season. Yes, I'm pretty sure he was freestyling by coming up and adding his own pressure, which is similar to what seemed to get Landry in trouble, but in that game it was desperately needed, and it worked. Landry's senior year was just completely undisciplined. He kind of went off the tracks a little bit.

Considering how the rest of the team was performing in games such as the one on the road at Arkansas, you can almost understand it. But in other games, like the one at Tennessee, he just had a bad day during a really clutch game.

which is why I sad they had about the same production...Steltz did fade a little toward the end of the year as the injuries added up, but he started off unbelievable

dude steltz blew coverage and let ingram score a TD when no DB was within 20 yards of him in the 2nd half

we went from a crucial "Down 3" situation, where momentum was our's, back to down 10
