i shopped chainsaws last month and decided Stihl or Husqvarna. The Husqvarna was slightly lighter, had more hp and was a few bucks cheaper. 18" bar for $300.
cheaper that, stihl is a better saw, according to the husqvarna salesman.
my previous Husqvarna lasted through 16 years of being treated like a home depot rental.
