Why is the media pushing Covid positives only

And not deaths?! Anyone else notice the media, including Fox, only reporting on positive tests and not deaths?
I wonder why that’s so, hmmmmmm.
The media is the enemy of the people.

It's been CASES!!!!!!!!! for months, because if Covid was going to kill or put someone in the ICU on a vent, it's a good chance it would have already done it.

There is a MAN. ORANGE is his color. BAD are his ways.

The way it works, one individual can account for 2, 3, 4...who knows how many separate cases that contribute to the overall number. For instance, if you contract the virus, and you have to provide a given number of negative test results before you're allowed to go back to work or whatever the case may be, each positive test result you produce during that process is counted as a separate, individual case. I know one fella who contributed 5 positive cases before it was all said and done. Of course he wasn't happy about it, but what could he do about it?

Because they want you to stay home on Tuesday

It’s the FLU!! And the Marxist governors should be held to account for the awful job they have done.

Sniffles for everyone

I despise the media, but deaths trail positive reports by a few weeks. The recent spikes in cases will result in a correspondig spike in deaths. It is what it is. 200 days into this mess and there's no getting around the math.

Because the media sucks

So wait - what would your projection be if we did NO testing at all??
Would we just have to rely on people who showed up with symptoms and then find out if they recovered or died??

The “spike” has been going on for a month now and yet deaths are still not being reported. Try again.

Flu cases and deaths repackaged as the Covid.

Demographic breakdown would give us far more info.
If the majority are under the age of 65ish, the proportion of positive cases that are fatal will be low.
A lot of college kids are testing positive, but that means absolutely nothing to me.
They don’t die.

So you don’t have Covid, thanks for the info. This really helps with the discussion.

They don't report them because the trend looks like this.
Remember that most states initiated reopening procedures around July and August. So, despite the fact that so much has reopened...the deaths are still trending downward.
