Sounds like any 10 year old like myself watching back then.

Saw a breakdown of the difficulty and the cause of the stupid low percentage of winners and it made rethink it.

I want to say the biggest issue was that the timer was simply too short for almost anyone to actually complete the technical challenges of the rooms in their shitty low budget lighting, let alone 10 year old kids on national TV. Throw in the temple guards and its like...give the kids a break. I do remember that tiny Asian kid speedrunning in like a minute and a half though
