That is not true. This was the mainstream projection for the mid-terms. This board's collective prediction was to the right of the mainstream.

Most here thought that the Dems would gain seats like most parties out of power, but not enough to change power. Most laughed at the thought of a blue wave flipping 20-something seats. They ended up flipping 40.
