I hit up Vail yesterday for opening day. It was a lot more fun than I expected. 95% of the people were really good skiers. Everyone was going fast but in control so the yellow jackets weren’t hassling anyone.

Very few people wore face covering except for a half arse attempt as they passed the lift operators. Towards the end of the day there was even less compliance. The on mountain experience will be very limited this year so be prepared. There are very few tables outside and no indoor seating. The outdoor apres scene in the Village was happening through.

You still thinking skiing will be a go come Christmas time ? I'm not worried about restaurants or amenities. I'm just hoping my flights, condo, and ski access are good to go. I've kinda kicked around the idea of jackson hole or park city as a back up plan just in case. We wanna go somewhere and ski. Not doing gifts this year. This trip will serve as our Christmas.
