When I was 15 I was very big. Was a fat kid my whole life but I was up to 300lbs at 15…
Had a coach I really looked up to tell me I really needed to lose weight.
From September to June my sophomore of high school I lost 105 pounds.
Felt like a new person. Finally had girls flirting with me and felt like I was a stud!
That stuck for a while and eventually old habits came back around.
Since then I will easily gain 50lbs in a year, maybe keep it for another year and get fed up and drop it all within a year. This has been my cycle since.
I’m currently in the process of dropping weight after gaining for a year.
It’s very frustrating. But I know who I am. And every time I lose a lot of weight and feel good about myself, I know in the back of my head that I’m going to gain it back one day and have to work my arse off to lose it again.
If I’m not losing, I’m gaining. I can’t seem to find the middle ground.

quote:you already know this but those wild swings in weight gain/loss are really not healthy for you. You’d be better off stabilizing at a reasonable weight and maintaining that. You are working your organs to death doing that
