Started off walking what I could. Now I walk a minimum of one hour and four miles everyday. Sometimes more, walked six miles on the chili dogs and fried seafood days.
People seriously do not understand the benefits of walking. My wife and I took a trip to Italy for 2 months over the summer. I started the trip at 183, which IMO is too much for my height (about 5'8 on a good day). We WALKED everywhere. I continued it when I got back at the end of July and I am down to 167 as of yesterday. Just get out and move and don't eat shitty and you will see results. You don't need a fancy gym membership. Nice work man!

Good for you, and I don't disagree with getting out and just moving. However, you absolutely should be doing some form of resistance training. Whether it's body weight, weights at home or at the gym, you need something.
