Surprisingly lack of info in this thread so far. I'm in the same position. Can more people vouch for the new Ram?

Only the poor ones can. Dodge has stepped up their game but still tends to be the poor mans choice as they are the cheapest of truck manufactures.

Bought a new Ram Laramie V8 without etourque, so far so good. I didn’t get the 12” infotainment because I actually like knobs for certain controls. I’m not a frequent or heavy tow guy, I wanted a truck for the utility of a bed and ground clearance for light off-road driving. I went for a full size for the cabin space. The inside cabin is were the Ram easily wins, it’s very well appointed as far as features, it’s cavernous, the back seats even recline some. The ride is very nice, and the backup camera is exceptional. The gas mileage that I have been getting is around 19 mpg combined. So, I would say if you use your truck to move people a lot the Ram is the clear winner, if you are using it mainly as a work vehicle and constantly towing lots of weight or carrying extremely heavy payloads, don’t listen to me because I don’t know what I’m talking about
