So the issue was that I had a very small component that broke off in the packaging. I was able to solder it back on and finally got the board powered back up.

I temp installed the lights on the back patio to play around with for new years. The wife and kids enjoyed them and I had fun running through the different effects.

Ill have to make a game plan on how to tackle doing the whole house.
