Not including guys that have a bright future in Fulton, Damien Lewis, Cushenberry, Delpit and Phillips but look at these numbers that LSU rookies are on pace for:

Patrick Queen on pace for: 117 tackles 5 sacks 5 FF 5 FR

Justin Jefferson on pace for: 75 catches 1432 yards 8 TDs

Clyde on pace for: 1347 yards 3 TDs 56 catches 472 yards (1,819 yards from scrimmage)

Joe on pace for: 65% completion 4,312 yards 16 TDs 11 INTs 6 rushing TDs

Only thing slacking is Clydes rushing TDs and Joes passing TDs

These are insane stats and doesn’t include guys like Terrace Marshall, Jamaar Chase and Derek Stingley that look like future all pros in their own right.

Patrick Queen leaving is probably the most impactful departure from the 2019 team. Whoever thought we would be saying that back in January?

Yeah, clyde has had 2 or 3 TD called back because of penalties that didn't really affect the play. Just having bad luck there.

So by saying "on pace for" you're projecting where they finish out... correct? If so, why are you only projecting CEH to finish with 3 TDs, yet over 1800yds total from scrimmage?

I think phillips leaving is what hurt the most. Queen was a sure fire 1st early 2nd rounder. Phillips was basically 4th round 5th round. if he had come back i think out LB would be in better shape. him and brooks leaving has killed us.

and still about to be replaced as a starter. He really got the short end on that deal!

I think you can blame Kelce for this more than any thing else. he's got 5 TDs on 12 RZ targets already.

Legit 3 contenders for OROY and a near lock for DROY. We were fricking loaded last year.

AJ Green waking up from his coma should help with this. He was hyper targeted early and was downright awful.
