Remove the three nuts holding the assembly to motor.
Remove broken rope
Cut new rope to length allowing enough for knot and handle
Wind spring backwards till tight.
Replace rope.
Replace handle.
Let it wind back into assembly.
Replace assembly.
Check oil.


Go get wife to crank it if you didn’t know how to do this in first place.
