I don't believe this reporting, but it was expected that Aranda was going to leave and if you remember was close to taking the UNLV job in December. LSU probably was formulating lists of candidates around that time.

I’m not saying I doubt Odom was on a list of candidates. But I am saying I doubt that LSU “went all in” on him given the timing.
