Another season, another epic choke job by the Braves. Part of me wishes they still sucked as bad as they did in the early 80s when I first started watching them.
The young core already has that "consistent choking" the Franchise is known for down pat.
Can't wait to see how they top this next year.

Exactly. After Ozuna's base running gaffe in game 5, you could see it all coming.
This was when I quit watching.
30+ years of watching them choke every way imaginable, you know when you see the spark that starts the bonfire. That was it. Series was over right there. That was so Braves it hurt.

Eh 3-1 sucks but I think if I told you at the trade deadline when AA decided Kyle Wright, Tommy Milone, Bryse Wilson, Tomlin were just gonna fight it out for 2 rotation spots and we'd go to 7 games with the Dodgers I think you take it.
3-1 can suck and we can still be proud of a team who lost their ace and their veteran presumed 2nd/3rd starter and still went somewhere no other Braves team has gone in 21 years.

they won division in 82 and lost to cards in NLCS and dodgers barely beat us out for division title in 83. bad years were after that until 1991 when we went from worst to first.

Saints fan stickied this for sure. Someone mad their state can't produce more than two pro teams

Braves are just a trash team in the playoffs. We knew how it would end... Just wasted more of our time
So the Braves organization continues to run the franchise the same way ("The Braves Way") year after year after year after year after year, etc. etc. with the same uncreative executives, the same cookie-cutter boring managers and coaches, and the same boring, white-bread, milque-toast players as "leaders".
Any steps outside "The Braves Way" path leads to condemnation, punishment, and (sometimes) banishment.
And the Braves seasons continue to end the same way.
Thirty seasons since (and including) 1991 and only one World Series ring.
WHAT A SHOCKING AND UNEXPECTED SURPRISE.

I'm guessing it was one of the Reds fans who is a moderator. Reddman has anchored our game threads during games before.
ETA: I'll add this about the Braves. They're as talented as anyone, but this is a soft organization and it starts from the top. All you have to do is look at what happens when anyone throws at Acuna. The Braves NEVER retaliate, so other teams know they can throw at him with no repercussions. The first time Urena hit him, it was embarrassing that no players stormed out of the dugout looking to cave his face in.
Gonsolin threw at Acuna to start Game 2 of this series and Justin Turner did that stupid kicksave cheap shite in Game 3. What did the Braves do? Nothing. Not a damn thing.

And I might be done now.
Like packing up every piece of sports ball clothing i have - not just the Braves - and donating it to a homeless shelter
Come on in and join the club... the apathy in here is warm and comforting.
