Agree with this as a Southern California golfer. I don’t like playing when it’s cold. If it falls below 60 I’d have to be really committed or it would have to warm up as I played.
I think it’s a combination of football, weather, and Daylight Saving, but I typically don’t even bring out the clubs from Oct-Feb. Except for maybe hitting the range a few times on some nights
