No you’re right but what the guy is saying is that those initial grades are based mostly on pure athletic standards. HS stats are unreliable so they grade the players on physical prospects. The NFL does this too, of course college performance, especially in this case, are more reliable but they still go with the physical specimen almost always. just look at the top 10 WRs drafted over the last decade, 5 are big physical types closer to Marshall and only 3 are 6-1 and under with one being a total bust and overreach (Tavon Austin).
