Funny story, particularly on today. My grandfather was denied membership to BRCC because he was Italian.

I know a story of a prominent Baton Rouge attorney who was Italian and was also denied membership. Years later, he was invited to a Christmas party at BRCC. He brought along a large head of garlic and he dropped garlic pods everywhere he went inside the club. Ruffled a few feathers of the members.

Back in the day Jews were good to go, Italians were a no go. I guess anything goes for the last 15-20 years based on me getting in ????
