To special teams coach or Director Of Gatorade Distribution!
Maybe His pride will get the best of him and he "OPTS OUT" of His contract.

You....you do realize there is pretty much zero difference between paying a buyout vs paying him to do a bullshite made up side job, right?
You do get that?
You do get that?

Pelini isn’t going to get fired mid season.

Yes sir I did. BUT he can be re-assigned to another position of less impact on the field.
If his pride prohibits him from doing it he may resign and we pay a smaller "buy out".

Let Raymond run the defense we know, put Pelini as def backs/co def coordinator. You can’t install a whole new defense without a spring and fall camp.

Let UF hang 60 on us in the swamp. He’ll be shown the door Monday

Indeed..buy out or not!
And the sad thing is that it could happen!

Do you want to never be able to hire a top notch coordinator again? Because that’s how you never hire another top notch coordinator.

If UF hangs 60 that will be 154 points scored on our D in 4 games. Any incoming DC will be told if you want 2.5M don’t give up 40 a game. Otherwise we will Fire you.

Money would not be the issue. We can afford to do anything we need to do with the coaching staff. Besides, reassigning him would not save us any money. We would still have to pay him and hire someone else.

No. The sad thing is....it WILL happen. Mizzou would have scored over 60 without losing 3 possessions due to turnovers. You really think this defense(and I use that word lightly) will get better? Please.

If money is an issue after a Championship year and tons of merchandise sales, everyone at LSU needs to be fired.
Pelini should be dismissed for performance and behavior unbecoming after reaming out Ricks.

Firing a record setting bad DC will scare off good coordinators? I Highly doubt that.
Anyone with eyes can see his players are unprepared and his schemes aren’t putting anyone in any position to win.
Firing bad employees doesn’t affect how good employees view jobs in any field.
