Yeah, of all the things that went wrong against MSU, the defensive line wasn't really one of them. I noted on the scoreboard the other day that the pressure has been a constant from LSU in the first two games.

Now, the run defense hasn't been great, but that stands to get better with Logan returning. What the D-line really needed to work on after the MSU game was containment. They would get the pressure off the edge, but nobody was home up the middle. That was much better against Vandy.

My biggest concern, by far, for the defense, is whether or not Pelini will bother to make adjustments against the more vertical oriented passing attacks like Florida and Alabama, down the road. Because he sure made none against MSU, and it's not like Leach surprised anyone with the plays he ran. His offense is as redundant as it gets. I know the injuries were a problem in the secondary, but you have to have a plan, regardless of personnel. If no one knew how to play in a zone, then I'm just wondering who might be to blame for that.

My biggest concern is when will Pelini make the adjustments to cover the damn RB out of the backfield. That play is open all day long against our Defense. The swing pass and wheel route needs to be addressed immediately.
