The umpires put thousands of lives in jeapardy last night by trying bring the teams back out on a sloppy field with lightening striking all around. Ridiculous. All so the Cubs could have a chance to come back and win.

Go stros.

5 games in August isn't a big lead.

Besides the fact that when they restarted the skies were faily clear, they only put about 30 or so lives at risk. The players were the only ones forced to be there. The idiots that came back to watch the duration of the game did so on their own and deserved whatever imminent death they were to face.

Poor Dean. Can you tell us some more about how the A's dumped Harden because he lost all his velocity? You do know more about him than anyone because you've been an Angels fan ever since that Tony Danza movie.

Yeah, the Cardinals are right there too... only .5 behind the Brewers for the WC spot.

Should be a good race, hopefully a team from another division (East... West is shite) can get into the WC race, make it 5 teams or so fighting for 3 spots.

YO, its still early Maximus, its still early. He is 1-1 as a Cub and in 4 starts has lasted only 5 innings twice. Time will tell on Harden, but what we know now is that you are a douche bag, that is for certain!

that lost of velocity is baffling batters as he is averaging 9 k's per start.

I don't think Harden has lost much velocity. He's consistently in the mid 90s.

I wish he could control his pitch count a little more and get deeper into games, but I'll take his 5 or 6 innings of 10 K, 2-hit ball if he can stay healthy.

50? Really? Also, I NEVER said Harden was washed up, I said that he could be a bit hurt, there is a big difference. Its a message board where discussion takes place. Sorry if I actually try to back up my arguments with background informatin and logic.

Regarding his 5 IP/outing I hear its great for a bullpen.

sorry if your pussy hurts now because your well founded logical arguments have gone to shite so you feel the need to start CUBS LOSE threads.

Last I checked the Cubs are the second best team in baseball, the best team in the National League.

I think this pretty much speaks for itself, no?
