Well he’s on pace for that number and here everyone is comparing him to Burrow.

I’m not comparing him to Burrow. But I watched the game and despite his numbers he did not play very well.

Had he really played well he would have had well over 400 yards passing, at least one more TD and we would have won.

I don’t know why it’s so hard to be objective and admit that he looked lost, scared and indecisive....and that is not good for a QB.

Pretty sure I said in my first post that he didn’t play well and why that’s a cause for optimism.

Now I know for sure that I mentioned this in my second post.

Every fault that Brennan showed CAN be fixed with experience. Will it? No idea, I’m not his coach.

You also have no idea that it won’t be fixed. So how about trying to pick the kid up a little instead of anointing his replacement after one start.

Some people are born with ice water flowing through their veins. Others aren't. It's as simple as that. A QB can have the strongest arm, great footwork & have prototypical size but they cannot dissect information & react quickly based off that information, all those other fancy tools go to waste.

Trent Dilfer now openly talks about his failures over his NFL career. One of the things, he has talked about is how he could master an offensive scheme in preseason or game plan in the film room of game week. He had all the information memorized & knew exactly what calls needed to be made with this formation vs that defensive look.

Dilfer said he easily took that information & translated it to the practice field. But then game day would come & he would freeze. His fear of failure would cause him to have mental lapses which caused him not to be able apply everything he had learned into his play on game day.

I think this happens with a lot of QBs. More than the average fan even realizes and after seeing Brennan actions this past Saturday, my fear is that Myles is one of those QBs.

I feel like we would have won if myles brennan's shitty arse hadn't given up 600 yards of offense to Abbott and Costello
