You can cherry pick your loads to manipulate this. The 6.5 doesn't really start to step away across the board till 500 or so. None of that matters for hunting deer. The 6.5 is the better long range paper puncher, but then you have to live with toting around a creedmoor. Who the hell wants to do that?
