The loudest game I've ever attended (sort of) was the Earthquake Game. I was in the womb. I'm now a student so all games last year plus that Earthquake Game.

1. 1997 Florida
2. 1995 Auburn
3. 2003 Georgia
4. 2000 Tennessee
5. 2001 Auburn
Not much after 2003, and people say the atmosphere in TS has not changed. I sayit has to a small degree and it is probably directly related to ticket prices and making the Student Section smaller.

I don't care how much the atmosphere has "died" tiger stadium single handily made. The color combination of PURPLE and GOLD intimidatin..
We will(for a long time) have the craziest fan base around....not includin the student section(which does like our recruitin...and reload with the same crazy bastards every year)

Metrytyger...the Aub game of '95 was 12-6 not 10-6.
Not trying to pick at you, but that was my first game in tiger stadium. It was an awesome thing

1998 Georgia was the loudest. 1997 Florida was seciond.
Yes, the Georgia game we lost, Quincy was 17 for 17 or something dumb like that, Hurricane George just missed BR, Chump Bailey was playing two ways, we finished 4-7, BUT: at the time we were #6 and expected to contend for a NC. This was before we really knew who Tepper was.

Nobody on campus really believed this.

What are you talking about? People were making fun of Tepper before he started losing games at LSU because of Illinois's 0-11 season. People were pissed about the DC change, and still in somewhat of a state of shock that the Tigers somehow managed to lose to vastly inferior teams such as Ole Miss and Notre Dame the season before.
We were happy to be getting respect, but nobody genuinely thought the '98 team was better than the '97 team.
