Are useless if you have a blowout, or sidewall damage. Also, if a run flat has a leak it’s supposed to be changed within a very short distance...but since there is no spare, there is nothing to swap it with.

I have had two blowouts (from sidewall damage) on run flats. Yeah, you can't drive after one, but I was able to safely stop from 80 mph on 1-10.
