Getting dopesick as you call it after 10 days is not believable. I've been on opioids for more than 15 years for a genetic disorder that will never go away. I would understand 3 months, a year maybe but 10 days is a copout for sure

Agreed and not to discount it if he ended up with a problem for real but nobody is gonna withdrawal symptoms from 10 days of Vicodin even if you’re eating like 20 a day. There may be a mental craving going on but not dope sick .

when you are opiate naive, yes, it's absolutely possible to go through withdrawals that quickly... but don't take my word for it... go look up the new CDC prescribing guidelines, and the research associated with it... there's a reason insurance and pharmacies are limiting opiate prescriptions to 7 day initial fills, and why they don't allow high morphine milliequivalent scores anymore, with research showing that opiate naive patients develop physiogical dependence after just a few days... here's a link if you'd like to read about it....

anyway, I did end up between 20 to 30 per day, for pretty much my entire 20s, and into my 30's... sucks, b/c that's time I'll never get back...

and really, ask yourself, why would I lie about that? what do I stand to gain by telling my story to a bunch of anonymous strangers? would seem like a really stupid thing to lie about, especially with no motive for doing so, which is why I don't understand what's so "unbelievable" about it.... what exactly am I trying to "copout" of?
