Mechanics aren’t that easily replaced, honestly. Not if they have higher level certs. It is possible this took place in a remote off camera or shielded from camera (purposely) area. However, they really do have to make it right to the customer in a BIG way even if they can’t catch the actual culprit. They don’t want this becoming big enough for the manufacturer to get caught up in it.
