We subscribed to YoutubeTV last week. The channel lineup is absolutely perfect for us, but the UI kind of sucks, but live guide and the DVR functionality. Has just about all the sports channels you could want other than Redzone.
For but a $135 per month savings over DirectTV, I can learn to manage it.

I switched earlier this year and love it, like you said the UI isn't great but with the savings I can easily live with it. Also, they have an extra sports package for $11 with Redzone if you want it.
