Yes. It's legitimate. We've had 200k more deaths this year than compared to last year. It's clearly COVID that is causing it. There is no way to get around it. People denying how bad it is have gone from it'll only be around until summer (wrong), to it'll only kill a few thousand people (wrong), to it only kills old people (wrong), to well the numbers must be fake (wrong).
Trying say a person died b/c they had other issues is crap too. If a person has AIDS and dies from an infection you don't say oh well the AIDS wasn't what led to the death. That's just not how it works.
