North Dallas is full of soccer mom Karens who buy into all the ORANGE MAN BAD rhetoric from the media.
They are all well off, so for them, politics and voting has nothing to do with their own pocketbooks and financial benefit. They have enough money to where they won't be affected based on who wins elections. Therefore their voting is all about how others will perceive them. "What will my neighbors and fellow country club members and cocktail party socialites think of me?" is what drives their vote.
