Yes McConnell refused to take a vote on Obama’s nomination but guess what....he had the votes to make that call

Guess what? He has the votes now...

Wasn't the clear difference the involvement of a lame duck President? As in one way or another a new President would be forthcoming?

I dunno. I'm conflicted on this kind of. I just got through with a post in different thread that stood for the proposition that the voters elect a President for solid 4 year terms at a time. Not 3 years and 10 or 11 months. So I really don't know. Er, I do know that the situation with Obama and Garland is behind us now. And whatever one may think of that situation, it shouldn't affect one's view on this current matter which is that Trump is Constitutionally obligated to discharge his Presidential duties up until the last second of his current term. Meaning he's obligated to fill this vacancy.

he just followed the democrat (Biden) rules. And now there's a republican president, so we'll follow republican rules.

Again, the left loves to wail, gnash their teeth and rend their garments over “hypocrisy”. Being moral relativists, they have no moral high ground; therefore, it’s all they’ve got.
