You don't see the irony of a group of people who speak words of "anti-fascist" who are banning books, demanding people be "cancelled", assaulting people with different viewpoints, or destroying property as means of intimidation...as reminiscent of a certain point in history?
Zealots from every corner of the political landscape have used the same tactics. Hitler did not own the copyright on authoritarian behavior.

It would be more accurate to liken them to the Khmer Rouge, but that would make the assumption that your target audience has some knowledge of history beyond Captain America comics.

This is completely too nuanced for most of the posters here. They only know about Nazis.

I'm asking you chief. You're way up there talking down to us plebes. Give us your approved list of totalitarian regimes we are allowed to use as parallels.

Use whatever you want. You obviously don't care about accuracy.

Well Hank, we all know you are the smartest guy on this board. But i think simplifying it, as the OP did, and comparing them to the brown shirts, would help relate the tactics by todays left more effectively, than linking to Cambodia. I think a big difference would be the communist ideology vs. fascism/socialists of the nazis. While both have similar shared traits, the current retarded leftists in this country share more in common with the fascists of the left than communists, no?

Ah, when you believe you are the smartest person in the room, and then get challenged and you begin to backpedal. Hate to see it happen.

You are the expert Mo Jeaux. Give us your list. Hank gave you Khmer Rouge and Cambodia (see Pol Pot for references), why don't you get us the others. If it's that easy, then post it.

No, I think they are FAR more analogous to Pol Pot and his cronies than to Hitler and friends.

With a few moments of thought, the Sandinistas in Nicaragua may be an even better analogy. Similar tactics and ideology, without the wholesale genocide.

Oh yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing. You're right, they're Nazis.

Ideological zealots attacking someone who agrees with them on most issues. Crazy, right?

Apples to dog shite.

Your problem is you are a lying, Narcissistic azzhole, who seeks validation on a message board, so your "word" as to what you believe is sort of worthless...

Nice try at playing the martyr, tho'.....

I am aware of the Sandinistas but not well versed on it. Weren't the sandinistan government funded by the Narcos (and the US) in the early 80s?

Still waiting on that list, that you said is so easy to post... Hank has now given you 2 regimes you could use.

No, there weren't. We funded the Contras. But hey, the Contras and the Sandanistas both used violent tactics, so let's call them both Nazis.

I believe that you are perhaps referencing the Contras, who we funded and who fought to overthrow the Sandinistas

This guy gets it....

Martin, it's all psychological. You yell barracuda, everybody says, "Huh? What?" You yell shark, we've got a panic on our hands

I'm (once again) completely, 100 fking percent correct in my assessment of the Left and while the Left are ACTUALLY a cacophony of the WORST and most violent, freedom restricting totalitarian ideals in the History of mankind and one would be correct in using any number of descriptors, I choose NAZI ....

BTW, why ya'll so gdmane passionate about defending these azzholes?

Hank, this isn't a pedophile thread, so I don't know why you bothered to show up with a derail attempt....
