woodlands isnt, but sugarland is only about 22 miles to downtown. but both, especially the woodlands, has much more to offer than the northshore.
Hell for a family guy like the OP, i would say outside of sports and restaurants, the suburbs of houston offer more than nola metro does. and a shite ton more than the northshore does.
and OP isnt going to live in the woodlands and have his wife work in sugarland. dunno why people keep bringing that up. they are on opposite sides of the city.
