Friend,

Ms. Mae died in July of 2004. It was a tragedy for our family. Her last words to me were, "TulaneLSU, life is like a streetcar." There isn't a day that I don't think of and miss her. She was a wonderful woman, better than any of us deserve. She taught me how to cook, make a sandwich, and dream outside the standards that edged me in during childhood. I wouldn't be the same without her. May we all have a Ms. Mae in our lives.

If this is regarding the bar new Casamento's, I feel no pity. One less bar in the city.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

She definitely died after 2008 because just the other day I found a picture I took with her at the Rouse's on Tchoup (she was buying a bunch of lemons and limes).
