What makes it worse is I am the one who ran him over. I have no idea even how it happened. We came home from dinner last night and with it being dark I never saw him in front of my vehicle. Hell he could have been laying in the driveway the whole time. When I got out to check on him he bit the shite out of me on my foot and got my two biggest toes pretty good as I was wearing flip flops. So after that I left my wife with him while I went inside to try to get bandaged up and he got up and ran off into the woods and we couldn’t find him. Then we got a call today he was laid up in the neighbors yard I guess trying to get home. He was too far gone by then. Sucks. I don’t know if I’ll ever own another dog. I don’t think I can go through that again.
