Haven't watched it, but based on the description by the creator, it's probably harmless. People love to get outraged by shite they don't understand on a whim, so I'm going to withold that judgement. I otherwise wouldn't have watched it, but I might check it out now

I copied and pasted a bunch of times in the hopes you would read what you posted and understand the stupidity and hypocrisy of your words.

You are castigating people for "ignorance", yet you are judging them based on your bias towards them and your ignorance of the subject at hand.

The funny thing is your post smacks of arrogance.

Public Schools have failed the country....

What's not harmless is that a 10-14 year old girl can easily watch the movie and interpret it completely wrong. However, this is a problem with Netflix in general and applies to many movies and shows.

I haven't watched and won't. From what I've read, it's mostly about the sexualization of young girls in our culture, a very adult topic. Was there this much controversy over Pretty Baby, with Brooke Shields playing a 12 year old prostitute in 1978? I was 17 and didn't really pay attention at the time. However, that movie was much less accessible because it was in theaters. So much is accessible to children and young teens now. That's the real problem!
