In Gainesville, probably, and certainly not for a good price.

Try and stay about an hour away and it shouldnt be a problem

I always stay in Jacksonville. Airfare from NO to JAX for less than $135 plus tax round trip right now.

In 2006 we stayed at the Ramada in Lake City. Wasn't terrible (like the Best Western Auburn...yuck), but wasn't great. However, you should be able to get rooms under $90/night. This time its Best Western for $75.
Now, if I could only find tickets that weren't 6x face.

I will be cancelling my reservation in Gainesville and if anyone wants to call and grab it up let me know. its at the Extended Stay, about 1 mile from stadium. $129 night. I've decided to stay in Orlando and will be cancelling soon. Post your email and I can give you the info and let you know when I'm cancelling so you can get the room.

Unless you put the room in someone else's name, they won't get it for your price. Calling after you cancel won't get the same rate.
