The now obvious shell game being played as seen in the Goodyear slide from a few weeks ago is their blatant attempt to label those thoughts they deem appropriate (racial justice, LGBTQ+, women’s studies) as human rights issues and everything else as political. Then they state that the company does not allow political speech at their workplace and voila!
One side can say and do whatever they want and the other is silenced, and if you don’t see the slight of hand you miss the trick and the policy sounds acceptable.
