So why aren't communists when communist regimes are responsible for the murder of 20x what the Nazis were responsible for?

Here's a question: Who do you think was responsible for the deaths of more Russians, Hitler or Stalin?

Stalin. Easy. (Not 20x though) Still nazis are always going to be more universally hated than Commies. I do hope you get that. That's without factoring in kissing up to China or our strange relationship with Vietnam.

You make commies evil and you could offend some possible viewers.
You make Nazis the villain the only people who care would be Sympathizers.
No one cares about them, because no one cares about Nazis.
They are a safe villain.

Soviets are too though.
Blanket commies. Not as much.

That's not an opinion either

Because they haven't waged a full-scale war against non-Communist regimes... yet. Thus far we've had Cold and Soft wars but never the aggression and scale we saw from Germany and Japan.

Also, much of our media loves the money China throws at it. Disney, one of the largest media complexes in the country, is so deeply desirous of pleasing China they've edited worldwide releases of movies to make them more palatable to the political wants of the Chinese government.
