Toro ZTR 42 or 50 inch? Different engines

Ok H&G Baws, we have a decision to make.
Getting a new Toro ZTR. I would prefer the 42" (space limitations and getting through gates etc), but it comes with a Toro branded engine.
I could go with the 50", which is not quite what I want, but it has a Kawasaki engine.
Should I suck up a little inconvenience to get the Kawasaki, or that not so important?
All thoughts appreciated
Thanks

The Toro brand engine is a better engine than the Kawasaki in that class if it is the V twin.
The low end Kawasaki engines are not the same quality as the general public tends to believe

Toro engine made in China
As is the phone you probably posted your response from. Or the computer or tablet.
The public perception that the low end Kawasaki is the holy grail is not true. Go to a dealer that sells both and ask for an honest answer on which is in their shop more and is harder to get warranties approved. Kawasaki has become a nightmare to deal with on warranties.

Thanks for all the comments.
Took the leap with the Toro engine in 42”.... will report any issues.

As a guy who’s sold approx 6000-7000 ZTR’s with Kawasaki engines in the last 10 yrs. you couldn’t be more wrong. The Kawasaki FR is a residential engine unlike the commercial engines Kawasaki makes but it’s heads and shoulders better than the Toro/Exmark engine, which comes out of China.
There isn’t a company making a better small engine than Kawasaki at any level currently. The Big Block Vanguards are nice but with all the recent head issues I’d even be cautious on those.

Not sure where this is coming from but we file warranties with Kawasaki weekly and rarely have an issue. But, I guess is you keep flinging enough shite against the wall though some of it may stick?
