Offensive Ideas for 2020- The Pesky Option

LSU needs to champion a new surprise offensive scheme for 2020.

If the whisperings are true about Chase leaving LSU because Matt Brennan threw too nasty of a knuckleball then maybe it wood be best if LSU went towards the pesky option that most defenses have forgotten how to stop. You move Stingley to WB. You have Curry and TDP at FB. Stingley and Emory at WB.

Could you imagine how pesky of an offense that wood pose to SEC defenses. Alabama had trouble against Georgia Southern in 2011. Georgia has had trouble with Georgia Tech when they ran it under Paul Johnson.

It wood feature Mad Max Johnson and his ability to extend things. He ran the wing T at the Junior Varsity level. The wing T is excellent for teams womb lack sufficient arm capabilities. It’s easy to learn and it produces some first downs with longer times of possession. Our defense will be chomping at the bits and well rested. Problem solved.

I know we all loved the spread and shred last year but we have to accept the fact that the personnel is just not the same as it was last year.

RC came by the facilities to let the kids know how important it is for them to turn their focus off football and onto more productive things like politics. I am so happy that Ed let RC on campus to help the team manage the distractions that has befallen this team.
