How much should wood fencing cost? Looking to get a ball park (pictures of fence type)

Something higher end looking like below. Not set on a certain design, but want it to look nice. Tall, table top privacy fence most likely.
Going around my backyard, curious what I'll be looking at from a per ft/per yard price point with labor and everything.
I can stain it in a few months once it is weathered, so we can take that cost out of it.

Right now, an arm and a leg, possibly a Kidney, and perhaps a spleen and your right nut. Buddy of mine works for a fencing materials company and said lumber has hit an all time high due to COVID and mills shutting down in the Midwest. I'd wait until late winter or early spring and do it then.

Yeah now is not the time if you can possibly wait. Lumber is astronomical.

$40-42 per linear ft for cedar installed in the Baton Rouge area. Staining not included. That price was almost 2 years ago. Might be higher now. Had multiple quotes done.

Oh I can wait until Spring. I’ll just do that.
Thanks guys.
What would it potentially be before COVID shortages? 40-42 per linear ft?

Have you considered cypress? I built a beautiful cypress fence after the 2016 flood. This summer I added cypress trellis & arbors. Let me tell you, the 3 1/2 year old full 1” cypress fence boards are as good as new & beautiful too.

I haven’t really decided on material. Is cypress a lot more expensive?

Call Triple Son in Larose for Cypress, Oak, Pine or Cedar.
They move a lot of lumber and have good prices.
