I'm shocked so many people liked Warrior he was the drizzling shits to me.....plus when he beat Hogan at WM6 I was devastated as a youngster.

HBK and Austin made Brett Hart a star

As a very young kid watching mid south:
Dibiase (only after the face turn against Flair, double turn with Murdock going heel)
Dr. Death
JYD
Hacksaw Duggan
Rock and Roll express (as an adult, i realize the genius of the Midnights/Cornette).
Now, it’s my namesake. I also look back and appreciate great workers like Brad Armstrong and even George South from back in the day.

More like the other way around. Austin even said as much. And Bret Hart was world champion long before HBK became as popular.
Bret Hart > HBK
Bret Hart > HBK

As a kid it was Arn Anderson and the 4 horsemen

He was being humble....Austin was a made man at KOTR 96.

Right and those title reigns killed the territory and enabled WCW to get to the top of the business. Brett was a bland character with 0 personality....it wasn't until HBK pissed him off that it brought the best out in him. Up until his heel run going against Michaels when Michaels won the title his best work was a damn tag team.

Any version of the 4 horsemen without Tully and JJ were just not right.

if more kids had watched Bret Hart's in ring work instead of Shawn Michaels, the wrestling industry would be better today.
Out of the ring they were both pricks though lol but Hart's technical and match work is some of the best

If Brett would have been entertaining they probably would have.

WWF - Ultimate Warrior
WCW - Sting

Highly overrated

Brett Hart without HBK would be like Ricky Steamboat without Flair....nothing
