I used to think Trump was a blowhard.

Back BEFORE he decided to run for President, I always thought he was a good business man, but a bit of a buffoon.
When he announced he was running for President, I rolled my eyes.
Then I listened to what he had to say during that first campaign, and damn was I right.
He is a blowhard, but he is MY blowhard.
I couldn't be more proud to say I was wrong about him and I am happy he convinced me to vote for him the first time and I am more than happy to vote for that great American again.

Trump is exactly what this country needs.
Modesty and humility are virtues, but the smartest man in the room needs to speak up when he sees things are going wrong and he knows how to fix it.
And likewise, the greatest country on Earth needs to stand proud and strong, and not allow itself to be whittled down by those who hate it for it's greatness.

Felt the same way, I was like fricking Hillary and some dueche that had a tv show.
But then I listened and watched things he said about politics in the past and agreed with most of what he said.
The big reveal for me was finding out he was rt about fake news. I have been grateful he's been our President. No one has gone after a President like this in my lifetime. It's because he's going after them.
Obama promised changed in Washington and lied to us. He lied to me about ACA. He fell in line with the Democrats and was just another puppet.
I love this man and he speaks his mind, but cares about American workers.

I felt similarly. My opinion started to change when he continued hammering on immigration. It was then I realized that he was the one person willing to say publicly what a lot of people thought, but no politician would touch. Then it became clear that he wasn't going to fold when the establishment attacked him for not being PC, I liked that too. I didn't think he would win, but I thought that he was bringing issues up that needed to be addressed, and he kept at it and eventually others started to talk about those issues too, when they saw that they could survive bringing them up.
I don't care if it's courage, or arrogance, or whatever, Trump has taken on serious issues this country needs to address: China, immigration, the general shittiness of our government, and completely exposed the left for who they are. I thank God he is our President and I hope he is re-elected.
Also, after his second term, if he really wants to piss everyone off, he should run for mayor of NY, I bet he'd win.
