I've seen The Shield seasons 1-4, the 1st season of Dexter, and all of LOST up until this season. I found them all to be very entertaining- you can't really go wrong with any of them. I'd probably go with the Shield or Dexter over LOST for reasons the others have said before. But don't give up on seeing LOST completely...once you start watching it you'll probably be hooked.
